Lithuania · Professional services
Lithuanian law, audit and apskaita run on advokato slaptumas and the Rivile stack.
Lithuania counts roughly 2,500-3,000 practising advocates on the Lietuvos advokatūra register, ~1,500 notaries inside Lietuvos notarų rūmai, four Big-4 audit offices in Vilnius, and 5,000-7,000 accounting and bookkeeping firms in the long tail. The Big-Eight law shelf — Sorainen, TGS Baltic, Cobalt, WALLESS, Glimstedt, Ellex Valiūnas, Motieka & Audzevičius, LEADELL Balčiūnas — sets the AI-tooling reference. The 5-50 person SMB practice underneath is the buyer Areza actually serves. Advokato slaptumas, i.SAF/i.MAS submission obligations and the EU AI Act define what is buyable.

Harvey
Global enterprise legal-AI. Category-defining platform for elite firms — Hengeler Mueller firmwide, A&O Shearman 4,000 staff across 43 jurisdictions, DLA Piper 5,000 firmwide licences. Lithuanian Big-Eight firms are either piloting via cross-border Baltic mandates or sit in the buyer pipeline. The Otto Schmidt and Legal Data Analytics GmbH content partnership (2025) closes the German-language gap; the Lithuanian-language layer remains an open content question.
-
Spellbook · Lexis+ AI · Thomson Reuters CoCounsel
Word-native drafting and research stack for SMB law firms. Spellbook covers 4,000+ teams globally with Microsoft Word as the surface; Lexis+ AI ships citation-grounded research but with uneven EU coverage for LT case law; CoCounsel runs research plus drafting agents. The cross-border Lithuanian SMB Kanzlei working English-language inbound-FDI mandates uses this layer; the LT-only domestic litigation practice does not.
-
Luminance · xLaw · Crespect
The Sorainen-disclosed legal-tech stack — Luminance for M&A due diligence, xLaw for knowledge management, Crespect for practice management. The closest public evidence of an AI-enabled Lithuanian Big-Eight firm without a confirmed Harvey contract. TGS Baltic and Cobalt publish AI-readiness language with thinner deployment detail.
-
Rivile GAMA AI · Konto · Pragma · b1.lt · Apskaita.lt · Finvalda
The Lithuanian-native accounting stack. Rivile GAMA serves ~30,000 client companies; v116.0000+DI shipped a forecasting and AI module covering purchase-and-production planning, price changes and budgets; v118.0000+DI aligned DK History to the new Accounting Law XIV-680. Konto sits alongside as the second domestic incumbent. Pragma, Apskaita.lt, b1.lt and Finvalda cover the long tail. Xero and QuickBooks have negligible LT penetration because i.SAF/i.MAS reporting is not a native function.
-
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central · SAP Business One · Dext · TaxDome · Karbon
Upper-mid-market accounting tooling. Business Central ships Copilot with Lithuanian language support; SAP Business One serves the upper-Mittelstand audit-client side. Dext and Hubdoc cover document capture for cross-border bookkeepers; TaxDome and Karbon run the practice-management layer for the international-desk accounting firm. None replace Rivile or Konto on the domestic Finanzamt-facing — VMI-facing — workflow.
-
MindBridge · Trullion · DataSnipper · AuditBoard
Mid-tier and SMB audit AI stack. MindBridge handles anomaly detection across the general ledger as ISA 315 (Revised 2019) and ISA 540 (Revised) push auditors into data-analytics-driven risk assessment. Trullion covers lease and revenue accounting. DataSnipper is the Excel-native audit standard across EU mid-tier. AuditBoard layers controls and workflow. The Big-4 in Vilnius operate proprietary parallels — PwC GL.ai, EY Helix, KPMG Ignite/Clara, Deloitte Omnia/Zora AI — adopted with a 12-18 month lag versus head-office rollout.
-
Ondato · iDenfy · Diligen · Kira Systems
Lithuanian-native KYC and contract-review AI. Ondato and iDenfy are Vilnius-grown KYC platforms used across the EMI cluster and increasingly in legal-practice intake under AML/CFT obligations. Diligen and Kira Systems sit on the contract-review layer at the mid-tier. The integration question for SMB practice is not capability — it is whether the procurement contract clears advokato slaptumas and the AVV under Art. 28 GDPR.
The three-tier landscape
What Lithuanian professional services actually looks like in 2024-2025.
Top tier, eight or so names. The Big-Eight law shelf is well-known: Sorainen, TGS Baltic, Cobalt Lithuania, WALLESS, Glimstedt, Ellex Valiūnas, Motieka & Audzevičius and LEADELL Balčiūnas. Sorainen is pan-Baltic with 46 partners and 270+ lawyers and tax specialists across Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
The Big-4 anchor the audit and transaction-services market in Vilnius — Deloitte, EY, KPMG and PwC each run an office. The mid-tier audit shelf is Forvis Mazars, BDO, Grant Thornton Baltic, RSM Lithuania, Moore Lithuania and Crowe LT. These firms buy international-grade AI platforms — Harvey, Luminance, MindBridge, the Big-4-proprietary stacks — through global procurement.
The SMB long tail is the buyer pool. Two hundred-plus boutique law firms with 2-15 fee-earners and the solo advocate cabinets below them are the actual Areza wedge. On the accounting side, 5,000-7,000 bookkeeping practices are dominated by 1-5 person shops serving SMB owners — UAB, MB, individuali veikla — through Rivile GAMA or Konto.
On the audit side, 100-200 boutique audit firms work around the statutory-audit thresholds in the Įmonių audito įstatymas. The pattern across all three stacks: a small named top tier sets the tooling reference, and the dense 5-50 person SMB tail buys what trickles down — or what someone wraps around their existing software.
Notaries sit on a separate, capped track. Lietuvos notarų rūmai represents the profession; the cap on notarial seats sits in the low-300s, but the chamber's licensed-notary footprint plus office staff is the SMB-ops surface. AI surfaces that simulate notarial validation are out of scope — the Notariato įstatymas keeps that boundary explicit — but the marketing, intake and workflow layer around a notary office is buyable.
Advokato slaptumas narrows the buyable surface. The Lietuvos advokatūros įstatymas codifies an absolute confidentiality duty stricter than the EU baseline. Every AI surface that touches matter data must stay in an EU-EEA processing footprint, support sub-processor disclosure, and never expose attorney work-product to an unsupervised LLM. The hard fence Areza does not cross.
Operational reality
What a 5-50 person Lithuanian practice actually runs like.
Partner bench plus fee-earners. A typical Vilnius, Kaunas or Klaipėda 8-15 fee-earner law firm runs 1-4 partners, 4-15 fee-earners, 1-2 admin (sekretorė or biuro vadovė) and outsourced IT. A 5-25 person accounting practice mirrors the shape with bookkeepers in place of fee-earners. Audit firms add licensed auditors and audit assistants; the licensed-auditor headcount is the binding revenue constraint, because Lietuvos auditorių rūmai signs off on who can sign the engagement letter.
Lithuanian is non-negotiable; Russian and Polish persist; English carries the international desk. Lithuanian is mandatory for client documents, court filings and Valstybinė mokesčių inspekcija interaction. Russian still matters for legacy SMB clients in logistics, construction and wholesale and across the Vilnius region.
Polish matters in Vilnius, Šalčininkai and Trakai. English is the B2B-international working language for fintech, EMI/PI, SaaS and inbound FDI clients — Sorainen, TGS Baltic and Cobalt all run English-first on their international desks.
The Tūto register — and the VLKK State Lithuanian Language Commission rules underneath it — is the procurement filter that AI-generated copy actually fails on; `apie X` requires accusative case, so it is apie Arezą, never apie Areza. Templates that interpolate raw nouns after apie, su or į break Lithuanian grammar everywhere the variable lands.
Decision-making is partnership-consensus and reference-driven. Buying motions run 4-8 weeks for SMB-tier subscriptions, longer for anything touching client data. References travel via Lietuvos advokatūra committees, the regional teisininkų ratas and informal partner networks; chamber publications and Verslo žinios commentary shape what respectable looks like.
The Rivile, Konto, RA-MICRO-style Lithuanian incumbents create heavy lock-in — switching costs are measured in years — and any new tool that does not integrate via the local accounting-software handoff is a non-starter for most VMI-facing procurement.
Fee pressure is structural. AI promises 25-40% time savings on document review, due diligence, first-draft contracts and routine bookkeeping.
Wundertax-style consumer tax apps and automated bookkeeping platforms are eating the bottom of the Steuerberater fee pool across the EU; the Lithuanian variant is the laisvai samdomas buhalteris running Rivile or Konto on their own laptop and undercutting boutique practices. The hourly-billable model creates a productivity-versus-margin tension: route savings into capacity expansion at a fixed retainer, or absorb them as a Pauschalhonorar repriced against the post-AI cost base.
Pricing tolerance is mid — benchmarked against Polish and Estonian agencies, not Stockholm or Munich rates — and an annual Areza programme value of EUR 10K-40K is the realistic envelope for a 10-30 person practice.
Areza service mapping
Where each service lands inside a Lithuanian practice.
Foundation — Lithuanian-first practice-area pages signalling specializacija. For law firms: civilinė teisė, baudžiamoji teisė, šeimos teisė, mokesčių teisė, M&A, intelektinė nuosavybė, darbo teisė, bankroto teisė, GDPR ir duomenų apsauga, fintech reguliacija. For accounting and audit: laikoma buhalterija, metinis uždarymas, mokesčių konsultacijos, statutinis auditas, IFRS ataskaitos.
Lietuvos advokatūra membership badge, advocate-licence numbers, Schema.org `LegalService` plus `Attorney` plus `AccountingService` markup, JSON-LD `knowsLanguage` for LT, EN, RU and PL. The Lithuanian morphology rule applies hard at template-build time — pre-decline nouns rather than interpolating raw strings.
AI Search — getting cited for the concrete buyer-intent Lithuanian queries: advokatas Vilniuje, advokatas Kaune verslo teisė, buhalterija Klaipėdoje, auditas Vilnius, įmonės steigimas UAB, GDPR konsultacija, kancelarija šeimos teisė. Plus the English inbound-FDI set — corporate lawyer Lithuania, fintech licence Lithuania EMI, statutory audit Vilnius.
The current LT SERP is held by Lietuvos advokatūros directory, eTeismai, Infolex, Manodaktaras-style aggregators, Rekvizitai.lt and Verslo žinios — directory pages that AI Overviews summarise poorly. Individual practice pages with rich schema-annotated content can leapfrog the directory layer in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews citation surfaces. The arbitrage is open and unusually quiet for an EU member state.
Voice Agent (LT-EN-RU-PL) — inbound intake with jurisdiction triage and conflict-of-interest screening. The agent collects matter type, counterparty names, jurisdiction, urgency and language, runs a konflikto interesų lookup against the firm's client list, and routes either to the duty partner or to an automated `negalime atstovauti` deflection — never legal advice.
Accounting variant captures entity type (UAB, MB, individuali veikla), VAT registration, employee count, current bookkeeping software and i.SAF/i.MAS readiness. Consent capture opens with an explicit advokato slaptumas disclaimer. The agent does not establish an attorney-client relationship.
Workflow Ops — Rivile, Konto and Pragma sync to the client-management workflow. The i.SAF, i.MAS, i.VAZ and SABIS submission cadence is the binding LT-specific lever; every VAT-registered client files monthly XML through i.MAS by the 20th, and mandatory SABIS e-invoicing submission has been live since 1 January 2025 with the broader B2B mandate running through 2028.
Workflow Ops orchestrates deadline monitoring, document collection and client comms around that calendar. Harvey, Spellbook or CoCounsel handoff covers contract review and drafting on the legal side — Areza routes intake into the drafting environment but does not draft itself. MindBridge, Trullion or DataSnipper feed handles audit-workpaper organisation.
Knowledge Bot — trained on Lietuvos Respublikos civilinis kodeksas, civilinio proceso kodeksas, Įmonių finansinės atskaitomybės įstatymas, Pelno mokesčio įstatymas, PVM įstatymas, the Įmonių audito įstatymas and AML/CFT references under LR Pinigų plovimo ir teroristų finansavimo prevencijos įstatymas.
Strict scope: client-facing FAQ about engagements, deadlines, document checklists, fee structures, and the standard Lithuanian regulatory framework — never specific legal advice, always under an advokato slaptumas disclaimer that the bot does not establish a mandate. Trained only on de-identified or published material.
Growth Stack — Lithuanian-language thought-leadership cadence read by the Mittelstand SMB client base (Verslo žinios commentary, LRT Verslas, Bzn start, Delfi Verslas), webinar capture for advokatūros kvalifikacijos kėlimas Fortbildung credit, intake-to-engagement conversion, and structured cross-sell across teisė × buhalterija × auditas within multi-disziplinäre groupings where the regulator allows it.
Regulatory layer
Advokato slaptumas, VDAI, EU AI Act, i.SAF — the buyable surface.
Advokato slaptumas under Lietuvos advokatūros įstatymas. Stricter than the EU baseline. AI vendors handling client data must be inside an EU-EEA processing footprint, support sub-processor disclosure, sign a separate Auftragsverarbeitungsvertrag-equivalent under Art. 28 GDPR, and never train on client data.
Standard US-endpoint OpenAI or Anthropic deployments are not lawful without specific SCCs and supplementary measures. Enterprise EU-residency contracts (Azure OpenAI EU, AWS Bedrock EU Frankfurt) are the minimum bar. Knowledge Bot training is on de-identified or published material only — never on live mandate files.
Notariato įstatymas, Lietuvos auditorių rūmai and the Įmonių audito įstatymas. Notary services, statutory-audit licensing and ISA quality control. AI surfaces inside the audit-evidence chain — anomaly detection on the general ledger, lease and revenue accounting — are owned by MindBridge, Trullion and DataSnipper. AI surfaces simulating notarial validation are out of scope. Areza wraps the firm's market-facing surface, not the evidence chain.
GDPR and VDAI. Valstybinė duomenų apsaugos inspekcija is an active regulator — Vinted EUR 2.385M fine in July 2024, complaint volume up 15% year-over-year. Any chatbot, voice agent or CRM enrichment touching client-identifying data needs a DPIA-ready data flow, an Art. 6 or Art. 9 lawful basis and EU-EEA processing. Tracking-pixel hygiene, signed DPA at engagement start, Lithuanian-language ToS and explicit no-training-on-customer-data clauses are procurement table stakes.
EU AI Act. Force date 1 August 2024; Art. 4 KI-Kompetenzpflicht in force since 2 February 2025; Annex III high-risk full compliance bar 2 August 2026, with a push to 2 December 2027 for some standalone systems. Default professional-services surfaces — Foundation, AI Search, Voice Agent intake, Knowledge Bot under explicit disclaimer — do not classify high-risk.
AI that scores debtors at an accounting firm or ranks CVs at a law firm crosses into Annex III creditworthiness and employment-decisioning categories and needs the full transparency, human-oversight and logging posture. Penalties run up to EUR 15M or 3% of global turnover.
AML/CFT. Advocates, notaries, accountants and auditors are obligated entities under LR Pinigų plovimo ir teroristų finansavimo prevencijos įstatymas. KYC at intake is mandatory; AI that streamlines KYC — Ondato, iDenfy — is in scope; AI that automates the risk decision is human-in-the-loop only. The Berufsträger remains accountable.
i.SAF, i.MAS, i.VAZ, SABIS. The VMI e-tax-administration system has been mandatory since October 2016 — i.SAF monthly XML invoice ledgers, i.VAZ transport documents, i.SAF-T on request. SABIS e-invoicing transition began 1 July 2024 with mandatory submission live from 1 January 2025; the broader B2B mandate runs through 2028. Areza Workflow Ops integrates cleanly with i.MAS — the biggest near-term operational pain point for LT bookkeeping firms.
Tūto register and State Language Law. Lithuanian-first on B2C and client-facing surfaces; English, Russian and Polish are additive. Public chamber registers — Lietuvos advokatūros advokatų sąrašas, Lietuvos auditorių rūmų licencijuotų auditorių registras — are the canonical trust signals; Areza Foundation pages surface licence numbers and link to the chamber profile.
Search and AI citation gap
Where Lithuanian professional-services buyers go invisible to AI search.
The directory layer dominates Lithuanian SERPs but is structurally hostile to AI extraction. Lietuvos advokatūra's advokatų sąrašas, eTeismai, Infolex and Manodaktaras-style aggregators rank for nearly every advokatas plus city query, but their listing pages render thin, often unstructured advocate profiles that AI Overviews summarise poorly.
Rekvizitai.lt and Verslo žinios company directories own the SMB accounting and audit discovery surface. Individual practice pages with rich schema-annotated content — `LegalService`, `AccountingService`, `Attorney` plus credential markup — can leapfrog the directory layer in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini citation surfaces.
Lithuanian-language professional-services AI Overviews are materially thinner than the English or German equivalents. Most foundation models are trained on English-default legal-tech and tax-advice content. The Lithuanian-content gap is wide enough that early movers earn AI citation faster than the EU average because supply is so thin.
The window for Lithuanian-language E-E-A-T-strong practice content to claim AI citations on advokatas Vilniuje, buhalterija Klaipėdoje, auditas Vilnius and adjacent queries is open but closes as competitors catch on.
Intake is overwhelmingly human-only or generic Typeform-only. A consent-aware multilingual voice agent that runs konflikto interesų triage, jurisdiction routing and Vergütungsvereinbarung-equivalent fee pre-screen before partner time is consumed has no incumbent at the SMB practice tier.
The procurement objection is advokato slaptumas, not capability; that story is solvable with EU residency, explicit AVV, Zero Data Retention and Kreis-der-Gehilfen-equivalent language in the engagement letter.
Case studies
Public patterns in Professional services that inform the Areza wedge.
-
Sorainen — Luminance, xLaw and Crespect as the pan-Baltic legal-tech anchor
Sorainen runs 46 partners and 270+ lawyers and tax specialists across Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania (ICLG 2024). The firm's public legal-tech disclosure lists Luminance for M&A due diligence, xLaw for knowledge management and Crespect for practice management — the closest public evidence of an AI-enabled Lithuanian Big-Eight firm without a confirmed Harvey contract. The operational signal for SMB practices: a Vilnius-anchored Big-Eight firm has already validated that international-grade legal AI clears the advokato slaptumas bar when EU residency, AVV under Art. 28 GDPR and sub-processor disclosure are in place. Areza's Workflow Ops engagement at the SMB tier starts from that established trust surface instead of re-litigating it.
-
TGS Baltic — AI-readiness positioning ahead of platform commitment
TGS Baltic publishes AI-readiness language and runs cross-border Baltic mandates that put the firm inside the Harvey, CoCounsel and Spellbook buyer pipeline through 2025-2026. Cobalt Lithuania mirrors the posture. The pattern matters for the SMB layer because the AI-tooling vocabulary is now in market — clients reading Verslo žinios and LRT Verslas see the case studies, arrive at procurement conversations already familiar with the architectural posture, and expect their counsel to have an answer. Areza's Foundation and AI Search engagements publish the firm's specializacija in machine-readable form so advokatas [miestas] [specializacija] queries surface the practice in Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, not just on the Lietuvos advokatūra directory.
-
Rivile GAMA AI — ~30,000 LT client companies on a Lithuanian-native AI stack
Rivile GAMA serves ~30,000 client companies across Lithuanian accountancy. v116.0000+DI shipped a forecasting and AI module covering purchase-and-production planning, price changes and budgets; v118.0000+DI aligned the DK History module to the new Accounting Law XIV-680. The signal for SMB bookkeeping practices: AI-native accounting tooling that ships Lithuanian-default with VMI-facing i.SAF and SABIS handoff is no longer a research curiosity — it is the established incumbent on the ~30,000-client install base. Areza's Workflow Ops engagement for a Vilnius or Kaunas bookkeeping practice hands matter-level work to Rivile GAMA under the firm's existing posture and lives in the surrounding glue — intake, AI search, knowledge bot, practice-area content, i.SAF deadline orchestration.
-
Big-4 Vilnius — MindBridge and the audit-AI cascade into the Baltics
Deloitte, EY, KPMG and PwC each run a Vilnius office on the listed-company audit and transaction-services market. All four publish global agentic-AI roadmaps for routine audit tasks (Bloomberg Tax 2024 coverage); the Vilnius offices adopt with a 12-18 month lag versus head-office rollout. The mid-tier shelf — Forvis Mazars, BDO, Grant Thornton Baltic, RSM Lithuania, Moore Lithuania, Crowe LT — runs MindBridge, Trullion and DataSnipper as the EU mid-tier standard. The downstream lesson for boutique audit firms working around statutory-audit thresholds in the Įmonių audito įstatymas: the AI evidence chain is owned upstream, but the marketing-site, intake and i.SAF-aware client-comms layer around the audit engagement is open. Areza's Foundation plus AI Search plus Knowledge Bot bundle ships into that gap.
Let's build the foundation your business actually deserves.
Frequently asked
-
How do you actually handle advokato slaptumas when AI tools touch client data?
AI vendors handling client data must stay in an EU-EEA processing footprint, support sub-processor disclosure, sign a separate AVV under Art. 28 GDPR and never train on client data. Standard US-endpoint OpenAI or Anthropic deployments are not lawful without specific SCCs and supplementary measures. The Areza engagement pattern: the Knowledge Bot is trained on the firm's published methodology, LR civilinis kodeksas, CPK and AML references, plus de-identified FAQ — never on live mandate files. Matter-level AI work (contract review, due diligence, audit workpaper anomaly detection) is routed through tools the firm has already procured under framework — Harvey, Spellbook, CoCounsel, Luminance, MindBridge, Rivile GAMA — with the firm's own AVV in force. Areza is the operational glue, not the model that touches privileged material.
-
Does Lietuvos advokatūra publish AI guidance for member firms?
The chamber's posture follows the broader EU and CCBE direction — verification duty, personal responsibility of the advokatas, confidentiality and data protection compatibility, transparency obligations under the EU AI Act, and AI-literacy duty under Art. 4 since 2 February 2025. In practice every Areza engagement for a Lithuanian law firm ships with a documented oversight layer — who reviews AI output, who signs off, how the supervisory chain is recorded, and how staff competence is documented for the Kammer-equivalent. We treat chamber guidance as a procurement filter, not a marketing line.
-
Does Areza integrate with Rivile, Konto, Pragma and the existing accounting stack?
Yes — Areza is the operational glue around the existing accounting stack, not a replacement. For a 5-25 person bookkeeping practice the pattern is Rivile GAMA or Konto at the centre on the VMI-facing workflow, and Areza ships intake, AI search, knowledge bot, practice-area content and the i.SAF, i.MAS, i.VAZ and SABIS deadline orchestration around it. For a 10-30 person law firm the matter-management spine stays on the firm's existing practice-management vendor, and Areza adds the surrounding marketing-site, AI-search, multilingual intake and FAQ-deflection layer. For a boutique audit firm it is MindBridge, Trullion, DataSnipper or the Big-4-proprietary stack on the evidence side, and Areza on the firm's market-facing surface. We do not resell software and we do not substitute for the matter-management vendor.
-
When does the SABIS e-invoicing mandate actually bite, and what tooling clears it?
Mandatory submission has been live since 1 January 2025 following the 1 July 2024 transition window, and the broader B2B mandate runs through 2028. Rivile GAMA, Konto and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central all ship native i.SAF and SABIS handoff; Xero and QuickBooks do not, which is why their Lithuanian penetration is negligible. Areza Workflow Ops orchestrates the client-side deadline cadence — monthly i.SAF XML by the 20th, i.VAZ for transport documents, SABIS submission on regulated invoices, i.SAF-T on VMI request — sitting on top of the accounting tool the firm already uses. Tooling selection is the bookkeeper's call; deadline orchestration and client comms are Areza's.
-
If AI cuts 25-40% off bookkeeping or document-review time, how does that change fee structure?
Two viable paths. Path one: route the saved time into capacity expansion and keep the existing retainer — the partner sees the same revenue per mandate and serves more mandates per quarter, with admin re-routed to higher-judgement work instead of cut. Path two: move the routine work (laikoma buhalterija, metinis uždarymas, standard-contract drafting, statutinis auditas workpapers) into fixed Pauschalhonorar repriced against the post-AI cost base, and keep hourly billing for the partner-judgement layer (konsultacijos, derybos, ginčai, ekspertizės). The new variable is how transparently the firm quantifies the time-saved-per-mandate for the client conversation. Areza's Foundation layer publishes the specializacija and qualifications; the pricing conversation stays inside the practice.
-
Is Areza a fit for a Big-4 Vilnius office or only for the 5-50 person SMB practice?
Honest answer: the 5-50 person SMB practice is the better fit. Big-4 Vilnius offices already run proprietary stacks (PwC GL.ai, EY Helix, KPMG Ignite/Clara, Deloitte Omnia/Zora AI), global procurement processes and head-office digital teams that do not need an external agency for AI search and intake. Sorainen, TGS Baltic, Cobalt, WALLESS, Glimstedt, Ellex Valiūnas, Motieka & Audzevičius and LEADELL Balčiūnas sit at the top of the tooling chain — they validate the platforms; the SMB tail buys downstream. Areza maps cleanly to practices that have outgrown a generic Typeform and a WordPress practice-area page but cannot justify a full in-house digital team. The exception is a Big-4 specialist line — a regional R&D-tax practice, a Forensik unit, a Vilnius fintech-audit niche — that operates as a quasi-independent unit and procures like SMB.
-
How does the Tūto register apply to AI-generated practice-area copy?
Tūto and the underlying VLKK State Lithuanian Language Commission rules treat Lithuanian-language quality as a regulated trust signal. AI-generated copy that breaks morphology — apie Areza instead of apie Arezą, su Areza instead of su Areza in correct instrumental form, raw nominatives interpolated after į or dėl — fails the procurement read on the first pass. Areza pre-declines nouns at template-build time rather than interpolating raw strings, runs a final morphology pass over AI-generated Lithuanian copy, and pins the formal register across every client-facing surface. The Tūto bar is not a stylistic preference; it is the floor.
-
What's a realistic engagement budget for a 5-30 person Vilnius, Kaunas or Klaipėda practice?
Foundation starts at EUR 4,800 for a 2-4 week conversion-first build (practice-area pages, advokato qualifications, Lietuvos advokatūra licence numbers, LegalService and AccountingService schema, Lithuanian-default with EN, RU and PL where cross-border practice justifies it). AI Search retainer starts at EUR 390/month (EUR 1,500 setup). A typical SMB practice engagement combines Foundation + AI Search + Knowledge Bot, landing around EUR 5,000-7,000 setup + EUR 700-900/month for the first six months. Voice Agent bolt-on adds EUR 1,200-1,800/month depending on call volume and multilingual calibration depth. Workflow Ops with Rivile and i.SAF integration adds roughly EUR 1,500/month. Annual programme value tracks to EUR 10K-40K for a 10-30 person practice. Pricing is published; Lithuanian buyers expect it.
Where to start
Services that fit Professional services in Lithuania.
- AI Search
The Lithuanian-language citation surface for advokatas [miestas], buhalterija [miestas], auditas Vilnius and kancelarija [specializacija] queries is materially thinner than the English or German equivalent. Leapfrogging the Lietuvos advokatūra directory, eTeismai, Infolex and Manodaktaras layer in ChatGPT and Perplexity is the cheapest legitimate growth channel for a 5-50 person practice.
- Voice Agent
Multilingual LT-EN-RU-PL intake with formal register. Konflikto interesų triage against the client list, fee pre-screen, jurisdiction routing, consent capture with explicit advokato slaptumas disclaimer. Tier-1 to AI, anything sensitive to a human partner inside the first 30 seconds.
- Workflow Ops
Rivile, Konto and Pragma handoff for buhalterija automation. i.SAF, i.MAS, i.VAZ and SABIS deadline orchestration. Harvey, Spellbook or CoCounsel handoff for contract review. MindBridge, Trullion or DataSnipper feed for audit workpapers. Operational glue around the firm's existing matter-management spine — not a replacement.
- Knowledge Bot
Trained on practice methodology, LR civilinis kodeksas, civilinio proceso kodeksas, Įmonių finansinės atskaitomybės įstatymas, PVM įstatymas, Įmonių audito įstatymas and AML/CFT references. Deflects routine 'Kokie dokumentai reikalingi?' and 'Kokie terminai?' inquiries under an explicit advokato slaptumas disclaimer, never on live mandate files.
