Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) is the emerging practice of structuring content so it gets pulled into AI-generated answers. This means:

  • Using FAQ schema on pages that answer questions
  • Writing in direct answer format (question → immediate answer → supporting detail)
  • Getting mentioned in high-authority sources that models heavily weight
