The Areza website uses only strictly necessary browser storage: no analytics, advertising, or tracking. Here is exactly what it stores and why.

This Cookie Policy explains how AI Merge Studio LTD, trading as Areza, uses cookies and similar storage technologies on areza.digital. It complements our Privacy Policy.

We follow the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the EU ePrivacy Directive. The site uses only storage that is strictly necessary to provide what you ask for, so it does not need a consent banner.

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Related technologies, such as localStorage, work in a similar way. In this policy, “cookies” means all of these.

What we store

We do not set any cookies of our own. The site saves two small preferences in your browser’s localStorage, and only after you make a choice. Neither is sent to our server.

  • areza-theme (localStorage): remembers whether you switched the site to light or dark mode, so the next page opens the same way. It stores only the value light or dark and stays until you clear your browser storage. If you never use the theme switch, nothing is saved and the site follows your device setting.
  • areza:language (localStorage): remembers whether you chose to read the site in English or Lithuanian, so we do not ask again. It stores only the value en or lt and stays until you clear your browser storage. It is saved when you use the language picker or answer the language suggestion.

Language suggestion

If you have not chosen a language, the site may suggest the other language version. To decide, your browser asks our server which country your request comes from. The server reads the two-letter country code that Cloudflare adds to each request and sends it back to your browser. It is not stored, logged, or linked to you, and no cookie is set. Your browser also checks its language settings and time zone locally; these are not sent to us.

Cookies set by Cloudflare

Our site is delivered through Cloudflare, which protects it from abuse. When its security features are triggered, Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies:

  • __cf_bm: bot management and security. Distinguishes humans from automated traffic. Lifetime: 30 minutes.
  • cf_clearance: records that a Cloudflare security challenge was passed. Lifetime: 30 minutes.

What we do not use

  • No analytics or statistics tools.
  • No advertising, retargeting, or social-media pixels.
  • No session-replay or heatmap tools.
  • No third-party embeds that set their own cookies.

The contact form does not set cookies. What happens to the details you send through it is described in our Privacy Policy.

How to control storage

You can clear cookies and localStorage at any time in your browser’s privacy settings. Clearing them resets your theme and language choices; the site keeps working normally.

Changes

We update this policy when our use of cookies or browser storage changes. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. If we ever add non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent before setting them.
